Jennifer Saunders has banned Kim Kardashian West from starring in any of her films.

The 57-year-old star has put to bed rumours that she wanted the 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' star to have a cameo role in 'Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie'.

She said: ''That's just internet rumours. She would never make it into one of my films.''

And Jennifer - who first brought 'Absolutely Fabulous' to our screens 24 years ago alongside Joanna Lumley - continue their drunken antics throughout the film but ''sadly'' their boozing binges were just for the screen as all alcoholic beverages were substituted with ginger ale for shooting.

Joanna revealed to Closer magazine: ''Everything we drink on camera is ginger ale masquerading as champagne. They've got bottles of fake Moet and Chandon, which even pop and foam, but it's actually ginger ale''.

Despite it being over two decades since the sitcom aired on BBC, the legendary duo joked that they keep young from ''daily plastic surgery and huge amounts of alcohol''.

Meanwhile, it was previously revealed that Jennifer plans to make a sequel to 'Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie'.

She said: ''We're doing it again, certainly. I want this again. If people go and watch it, yes.''
