The creator of Broadway's Hamilton musical was wrapping up his stint as the star of the production when he agreed to pen a rap verse for Jennifer's tune, which was rush-released as a tribute track in the aftermath of the Pulse nightclub massacre in Orlando, Florida in June (16).

The whole process was a bit of a blur for Miranda, who helped to rework the song's lyrics in 20 minutes, and he is now eager to hit the studio with Lopez once more so he can actually enjoy it.

"It was a dream to work with her," Miranda told E! News. "It came at a very crazy time in my life. We literally recorded it during my final weeks of Hamilton. We rehearsed for the Today show (TV performance) the day after I left the show. So I'd love to work with her in a less stressful time."

Proceeds from Love Make the World Go Round benefited the Proyecto Somos Orlando organisation, which is using the funds to help the victims and families of the shooting, which claimed the lives of 49 people.
