Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson fears she'll never be able to win with critics who have poked fun at her drastic weightloss - because they can't just be happy for her.
The Dreamgirls star has shed the pounds through diet company WeightWatchers, for which she is a spokesmodel, and she's thrilled with her new slimline look - and the fact she has been able to keep the weight off.
But not everyone is congratulating her.
She tells Access Hollywood Live, "You cannot win with the weightloss because once you lose (the weight) first they say, 'You can't do it,' then when you do it, they say, 'Well, you're gonna gain it back'. Then, when you don't gain it back, then people get madder and then they say, 'They lost too much weight!'
"You have to do it for yourself. It shouldn't matter what other people say."
But she insists she'll never forget what it was like to be heavy and makes a point of telling overweight girls she meets how pretty they are.
She adds, "Every time I see a heavy girl that reminds me of myself I make sure I let them know, 'Oh my God, you are so beautiful'."
