Jennifer Grey made an emotional debut on 'Dancing With The Stars' last night, as the hit show had its season premiere. The 38-year-old starred alongside the late Patrick Swayze in the 1987 film 'Dirty Dancing', and when one of the movie's hit songs was played in rehearsals, it all became too much for Grey. The actress broke down in tears as Otis Redding'S 'These Arms of Mine' began as she danced with partner Derek Hough.
Britain's Daily Mail newspaper reports how, after returning to the rehearsal, she told Hough, "It took me back in a time capsule, and I was with Patrick. I just missed him. He was like you, young and gorgeous". During the live show Grey took to the stage in a blue dress, wowing the judges with her performance and gaining the highest score of the night, 24 out of a possible 30. 'Baby is back where she belongs', said judge Bruno Tonioli, before adding, 'I know somebody up there is going to be very proud of you.'
After all the celebrities had danced, it was 'Baywatch' actor David Hasselhoff and 'Jersey Shore' reality star MIKE SORRENTINO who were at the bottom of the leader-board, amassing only 15 points.
