Jennifer Aniston became the first out of the cast of seminal US sitcom 'Friends' to be inaugurated on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, gaining her star at a ceremony that included guests such as boyfriend Justin Theroux, fellow 'Wanderlust' co-stars Malin Akerman and Kathryn Hahn and her father John among others.
"I cannot explain to you how surreal this moment is. This is crazy literally," Aniston said upon being shown her star on Hollywood Boulevard. "I was born in Sherman Oaks, California. I am a California girl through and through, and I'm sure this has always just sort of been in the back of my mind. It probably wasn't even a dream, it was one of my wildest dreams. I don't think that I ever even thought that this would be here, this day," she said, adding "So I am utterly humbled and grateful... You have all helped me up and allowed this moment to happen."
Also among the guests was Adam Sandler, co-star with Aniston in 'Just Go With It,' and he gave a short speech referring to her differing hairstyles and role in 1993 horror 'Leprechaun,' reports The Press Association. "She prayed for three things: to have everyone in the entire world be fascinated with her hair, to one day star in a movie about an evil leprechaun who kills people, and most importantly, receive a star on the prestigious Hollywood Walk of Fame. Today, Jennifer, the trifecta is here."
