Jeffrey Dean Morgan was put through his paces by stuntman-turned-director Dan Bradley as he worked on upcoming action movie Red Dawn - the filmmaker banned the cast from sitting down and warming up between scenes on the winter shoot.
Morgan stars alongside Chris Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson in the drama, a remake of the 1984 Cold War classic, and he admits one shoot in Detroit, Michigan pushed the cast to its limits.
He tells E! News, "There were a couple of rough days. Dan wants you to do your own stunts. I remember we were out in the middle of the woods outside of Detroit and it was like 30-below. He wouldn't allow there to be cast chairs or heaters for us in between takes. It sucked.
"I was like, 'Are you kidding me? We're not really fighting a war. We're making a movie!'" But no, it was like, 'No chairs, no heaters!' It was crazy."
