Rapper Jay-Z is urging people to listen closer to his lyrics - because he's sick of being labelled a hoodlum only interested in girls, guns and the high-life.
The hip-hop hero admits his fun-loving image is beginning to take its toll on his real life, especially when it comes to buying property.
He explains, "I'm upset about people that don't want me to move into their building because I'm a young black dude. They don't want me to live in that penthouse.
"I take my home seriously. It ain't like there's gonna be 30 n**gas having a party in my house every night.
