Rapper Jay-Z has been forced to release his farewell album two weeks early - in a bid to beat bootleggers.
THE BLACK ALBUM was due to hit shops on 28 November (03) but tracks from the project have been leaked on the internet, prompting Jay-Z to bring the release date forward to 14 November.
He says, "I'm so used to it. It's almost as if you plan to do one thing and you just gotta go to plan B.
"For a second I was like, 'This is whack,' but I'm really used to it."
The hip-hop star is offering a special treat to three lucky fans who rush out to buy what he's saying will be his final release - he's including three gold tickets in among the first albums, with a MERCEDES sports car on offer for the lucky recipients.06/11/2003 09:49
