LATEST: Rap star Jay-Z mocked his former tourmate R Kelly throughout Monday night's (01NOV04) performance at New York's Madison Square Garden.

Kelly threw Friday's (29OCT04) BEST OF BOTH WORLDS show into chaos after he left the stage claiming two audience members were brandishing guns.

He was later allegedly maced by one of Jay-Z's entourage as he returned to the stage and has since been thrown off the tour bill by the HARD KNOCK LIFE star.

But Jay-Z poked fun at Kelly's threats of a $75 million (GBP41.7 million) breach of contract lawsuit by putting T-shirts on sale emblazoned with the slogan 'No Guns In The Building'.

Some of hip-hop's biggest hitters attended in support of Jay-Z who proclaimed, "Rest assured, everyone will have a good time tonight because there are no guns in the building!

"One monkey don't stop no show. We don't need R+B tonight. We've got hip-hop."

Jay-Z's renamed JAY-Z AND FRIENDS show featured performances and collaborations with SEAN 'P DIDDY' COMBS, Snoop Dogg, Pharrell Williams, MARY J BLIGE, Kanye West, Q-Tip and Busta Rhymes.
