Jay Z has announced two additional dates to his current 2012 touring schedule, and will now be playing two extremely reasonably priced shows at Fort Greene in New York. Hova has largely been playing alongside pal Kanye West this year, with the two rap behemoths taking their 'Watch The Throne' project around the world to rapturous reviews.
However he's managed to fit in a fair few solo shows along the way, including a notable appearance in the UK at Bbc Radio One's Hackney Weekender in London, a set that saw him joined by Rihanna for a portion of the gig. Who knows whether she'll be on stage with him at Fort Greene, but with the hip hop legend's expansive address book you just know that there's a chance some familiar faces could be on the cards. Jigga has confirmed that he'll be playing the Barclays Center on September 28th and then follow it with shows on the 29th and the 30th. Good news too for his fans; he's kept the tickets at a right decent price of less than $30.
"Jay Z is the definitive artist to open Barclays Center," said arena Ceo Brett Yormark. "We are thrilled that such an iconic world-class entertainer, not to mention a Brooklynite, will take the borough's biggest stage on three consecutive nights for what will surely be a historic experience for all fans."
