U.S. funnyman Jay Leno has confessed he is bored by some of the reality stars featured on his talk show.
The former Tv show host took aim in his interview with The Bachelor star Trista Sutter and admitted he glassed over while talking to celebrities on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on U.S. network NBC.
In an interview with Tv personality Craig Ferguson he insisted that any awkward gaps in his programme were down to his guests from "stupid reality shows".
He says, "No, it was the people on the show! The classic example is I had one of these reality stars on... Trista! From one of these Bachelorettes... So, I'm sitting and I'm looking at the side of her head. I couldn't be less interested. I've never seen this stupid reality show - you know what it was."
He went on to explain that he had an awkward encounter after the show where he failed to recognise his interviewee.
He adds, "She goes, 'Hey, can I have a picture?' And I go, 'Sure, what's your name?'"
Sutter later took to Twitter.com to respond to Leno's anecdote, writing, "After 10 yrs, ironic that I'm the topic of convo on @CraigyFerg last show. Thx 4 the shoutout @jayleno! Next time, plz mention my book. ;)"
