TAKE THAT star Jason Orange tore a ligament in his leg while practising a dance routine on Thursday (06APR06), raising concerns he may not be fit to perform on the boyband's comeback tour. The 35-year-old was attempting to recreate an old dance move when he felt his hamstring pop and he collapsed in pain. His injury has now cast doubt over whether he will be able to appear on Take That's upcoming UK tour, due to start later this month (APR06). A source says, "Jason was getting into one of the routines and over-stretched his leg. He felt a sickening popping sensation in his hamstring and went down like a ton of bricks. "He was carted off for physiotherapy straight away." Orange has been advised to avoid energetic dance moves for eight weeks. However, bandmates Gary Barlow, Mark Owen, and Howard Donald will keep practising, determined to regain their former fitness levels. The source adds, "All the lads have been giving it their all in rehearsals. They are really keen to get back into peak condition for the shows." The BACK FOR GOOD hitmakers split in 1996. Original member Robbie Williams is not a part of the reunion.
