The Nasty singer broke the news of her mystery health emergency on on Christmas Eve (24Dec15), telling fans she needed "surgery soon".

Janet did not reveal why she needed medical attention, but it has since been reported a growth was discovered on the 49-year-old star's vocal cords. She scrapped six U.S. concerts in October (15) after doctors told her to rest her voice.

The singer told fans, "It breaks my heart to tell you that I am forced to postpone the Unbreakable Tour until the spring. Every date will be rescheduled. Please hold on to your tickets. They will be honored in a special way when the new schedule is announced.

"Please pray for me, my family and our entire company during this difficult time. There will be no further comment. I love you all so much and am ever grateful for your understanding and your love. Gon' b alright (sic)."

Now, sources have confirmed Janet will be back onstage in Europe this spring (16), according to U.S. news show Extra.
