Janet Jackson's notorious "wardrobe malfunction" at the Super Bowl has now filtered through to the sports world - with live American football games now getting a five-second delay.

In February (04), NASTY singer Jackson sparked an outrage across America when her breast was exposed to millions of TV viewers at the end of a half-time performance with Justin Timberlake.

The ongoing debate which followed the incident led to broadcasting bosses imposing a five-second delay on live broadcasts, and now TV network CBS has decided its MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL games will follow suit.

FRED GAUDELLI, producer of Monday Night Football, says, "It's a precaution because of what happened with Janet Jackson."
