The guitarist, who is currently preparing to wed former Baywatch babe Carmen Electra, has slammed the pair for choosing money-making over music - and accuses them of making real artists "suffer" with their image-conscious antics.
He rants, "Musically, it doesn't do a thing for me. I have a rebellious nature. I like a lot of energy and a lot of movement. My attitude is that they are damaging to music.
"It is a lot easier to make money and the music business turns them over pretty fast. You might not hear from these people in five years.
"But they make loads of money and the musicians, as artists, are the ones who suffer. These so-called divas are standing there with 90 people around them and they brush their face and airbrush their tummies.
"At least you can say that Christina can sing. You have to give her that, but the other one - I don't know one song that she does except OOPS!...I DID IT AGAIN."07/11/2003 13:55
