The actress has teamed up with former The Office star Kate Flannery to record 10 festive classics and five originals, penned by Glee vocal arranger Tim Davis, for A Jane Lynch Christmas.

"I've been doing a cabaret show with Kate Flannery, who was Meredith the drunk in The Office and Tim Davis, who was a vocal arranger in Glee, and a group called the Tony Guerrero Quintet and they're the most talented people I've ever worked with," Jane tells Access Hollywood Live, "so we put together a Christmas album all by ourselves... and we're pushing it out on the radio,.

"There will be 10 classic tunes and Tony wrote five... new tunes that sound like they've been around since the 50s."

The tracks will be available to download via Jane's official website and on iTunes from the middle of November (16).

She's not the first Glee star to release an album of festive tunes - Idina Menzel, Kristin Chenoweth, and Matthew Morrison have also released Christmas albums, and the Glee cast released Glee: The Music, The Christmas Album in 2010.
