Actress Jane Fonda will return to the Broadway, New York, stage for one night only with a reading of EVE ENSLER's NECESSARY TARGETS. The performance will kick off a two-week performance festival in June (06) dubbed Until the Violence Stops: NYC. The programme was created by V-Day, Ensler's organisation dedicated to stopping violence against women. HOUSE OF SAND AND FOG star Shohreh Aghdashloo and Marian Seldes will co-star with Fonda in the performance, which will play at Studio 54 on 12 June (06). Fonda last appeared on Broadway in 1963's STRANGE INTERLUDE. Other actors involved in the festival include Salma Hayek, Idina Menzel, Phylicia Rashad and Rosario Dawson.
