James Morrison has claimed Madonna is the most impolite celebrity he's ever met.
Speaking to Metro ahead of the release of his new single You Make It Real, the singer-songwriter revealed he was blanked by the Material Girl while working on his second album in the US.
"I was recording in a studio in LA and she came in to speak to a producer and someone asked if I wanted to meet her," he explained.
"I'm not her biggest fan but thought I'd say hello so I went over and said: 'Hello, I'm James, nice to meet you,' and put my hand out to shake hands.
"She just looked at it and said: 'And what do you do?' I told her I was a singer and she just stared at me and didn't say anything. It was really uncomfortable. Then she just ignored me."
He added: "F*** her, though, it's just a matter of common courtesy. It doesn't matter what someone does for a living. She's just rude. There's no excuse for it."
The Brit award winner, whose new album Songs for You, Truths for Me is released on September 29th, became a father at the weekend after his girlfriend Gill gave birth to a baby girl.
