James Gandolfini's final project, Tv comedy Taxi-22, has been picked up for a pilot by bosses at America's CBS network. The late actor, who served as executive producer, had initially sold the idea to Cbs in June (13), two weeks before his death, but his co-developers decided to press on with the series in his memory. The show, about a grumpy and politically incorrect New York cab driver, is based on popular French Canadian comedy Taxi 0-22.
