James Corden and his wife Julia Carey are expecting their second child.

The couple, who got married at Somerset's Babington House in 2012 and already have three-year-old son Max together, confirmed the happy news via their spokesperson today (24.05.14).

A source close to the 35-year-old 'The Wrong Mans' star also told The Mirror newspaper: ''James and Julia have loved every minute of becoming parents to their toddler Max and were keen to give him a brother or sister who is close in age. They're delighted to be pregnant again and can't wait to expand the family.''

The couple, who were introduced by their close friend Dominic Cooper in 2009, got engaged on Christmas Day in 2010.

The actor previously admitted that becoming a father had given him a ''sense of clarity'' in his life.

He explained: ''It's given me a great sense of clarity.

''You get into your house and shut the door and it's lovely to be greeted by this person who's become the most important thing. It's amazing.''

It's been a good month for James, as he won the TV BAFTA for best comedy entertainment programme for his Sky One football series 'A League of Their Own' last weekend.
