Former British boyband BUSTED star MATT JAY has checked into a rehabilitation clinic to fight his alcohol addiction.
The 22-year-old musician, who split from bandmates James Bourne and Charlie Simpson in January (05) when the CRASHED THE WEDDING group went their separate ways, has booked into the addiction wing of London's The Priory clinic for a $38,000 (GBP20,000) two-week treatment course.
Jay's spokesperson tells British newspaper The Sun, "Matt realised that his drinking had got out of control and he wanted to sort it out before it destroyed his life.
"He's feeling very low at the moment but he's chosen to deal with it in a responsible way.
"Despite this setback he will be back in the studio to work on his solo project very soon."17/04/2005 10:24
