Former James Bond villain ROBERT DEVI turned hero in California on Monday (12APR04) when he helped save a neighbour's home after a fire broke out.
The LICENCE TO KILL star and two pals jumped into action when they spotted SHEA LODGSON and her young sister dashing out of the Northridge house as flames started creeping up the walls.
The three men battled to put out the fire until firefighters arrived at the scene.
Fire chiefs told homeowner LARRY LODGSON that the house would have been engulfed by flames by the time they arrived, had it not been for Devi and his friends' actions.
Lodgson says, "He saved my home. The flames were beginning to burn up the walls."14/04/2004 20:55
