James Bond is the man with the golden film around the globe - the super spy's latest movie QUANTUM OF SOLACE has destroyed the competition in its first week of release.
The film, starring Daniel Craig as 007, made over $106 million (GBP66.25 million) after opening in Britain and France, among other territories, 10 days ago.
The figure is the second largest international box office sales weekend in 2008, trailing only the $146.6 million (GBP91.6 million) debut of Indiana Jones and Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.
Quantum of Solace, which opens in America on Friday (17Nov08), smashed box office debut records in Finland, Nigeria, Romania, Slovenia, Switzerland and the United Arab Emirates.
