Jagged Edge singer Kyle Norman is reportedly facing jail time for violating his probation.
The R&B singer was arrested a year ago (Jan15) after his partner Marikka Maria accused him of beating her up and attempting to force her engagement ring down her throat during a heated argument at their Atlanta, Georgia home.
Norman was charged with six felonies, including false imprisonment, aggravated assault, making terroristic threats, misdemeanour battery and hindering a person from calling emergency services.
Despite the brutal assault, the couple stayed together and wed in May, 2015, and in November (15), Norman was sentenced to community service and probation as part of a plea deal.
However, in February (16), the 40-year-old was reportedly arrested and charged with battery and family violence. He pleaded not guilty to disorderly conduct and was sentenced to one year probation and two days in jail. He was also ordered to attend 12 anger management classes and have no violent contact with the victim of the assault.
In September (16), Norman was again arrested and charged with obstruction of officers, criminal trespass, battery, family violence and cruelty to children in the third degree, and earlier this month (Nov16) his probation officer reportedly requested for his probation to be revoked for failing to adhere to the conditions previously laid out by a judge.
