The Lox bandmates opened their own juice bar, called Juices For Life, in their native Yonkers, New York in 2011 and the chain now boasts three stores across the state.
Each one offers a wide range of fresh and healthy juice drinks, and the rappers are now keen to do more to spread the message to people living in low-income neighbourhoods and encourage them to start taking care of their nutritional needs after spending their youths gorging on "garbage".
In an interview with Elite Daily, Styles P says, "In the poor communities, it's mostly the money gets invested in liquor stores and kinda things we really don't need."
Jadakiss continues, "Our juice bars are open in the hoods on purpose to educate our people on health awareness...
"You're going to get out what you put into your body. We didn't know (as youths). All we knew was run to the fast food spots or run to get big bags of candy. It's a bunch of garbage. As times change, people change, you evolve and you learn about taking care of the body."
Styles P insists it's about time people recognise the need to lead healthier lifestyles, claiming no one is "too cool" to take care of their own wellbeing.
He adds, "It's something you should spread the word on. You're not too cool. You're not too gangster. You're not too fly (hot). You're not too anything to say, 'Hey, here's something good to do. Do it.'"
