Jada Pinkett Smiths medical drama HawthoRNe in which she stars as the chief nursing officer in a Virginia hospital has been cancelled.

Smith who is the wife of Hollywood superstar Will Smith was starring alongside ex-husband of Jennifer Lopez, salsa singer Marc Anthony, but the series hasn't drawn sufficient audiences and the TNT network has decided to cancel the show saying in a statement according to the Los Angeles times "TNT has decided not to order a fourth season of 'HawthoRNe" adding "TNT truly appreciates the tremendous dedication of everyone involved in 'HawthoRNe'. The series gave TNT the opportunity to work with many outstanding people, including Jada Pinkett Smith and the rest of the show's talented cast, crew, producers and writers. We wish everyone involved with 'HawthoRNe' nothing but the best." The cancellation of the show comes amongst rumours that the couple were involved romantically following Anthony's divorce from fellow singer Jennifer Lopez however; both have moved quickly to deny the rumours. HawthoRNe was first aired in 2009 and also starred Michael Vartan.
