Jada Pinkett Smith has had her medical drama HawthoRNe cancelled recently amid rumours that she has been having an affair with co-star and ex-husband of Jennifer Lopez, Marc Anthony.
However, when asked about the rumours the salsa singer-songwriter was quick to deny the infidelities, speaking to People.com he said, "When something like that happens, it's laughable. We've been friends for years. Jada, Jennifer, me, for years." The 42-year-old singer has been speaking recently about the end of his 7-year-marriage to Lopez claiming that there is no sensational reason they have separated but has explained that the real reason was much simpler and the couple simply grew apart. "People are trying to peg it on things because it was so shocking," he says of the end of his seven-year marriage. "It was like, it must have been something."
Jada Pinkett Smith was born in Baltimore and began her career by starring in various sitcoms; however, she rose to prominence after appearing in films such as 1993 crime thriller Menace II Society which portrayed the urban violence in Los Angeles. Since then she has gone on to star in blockbusters such as The Matrix trilogy alongside Keanu Reeves. She married fellow A-lister Will Smith in 1997 and has two children together, Jaden, 13, and Willow, 10. Alongside her husband she has also set up the Will and Jada Smith Foundation which supports inner city youth.
