Jackson Browne, The Wallflowers and Bonnie Raitt have added their contributions to a new tribute album to tragic rocker Warren Zevon.

The artists join the likes of The Pixies, Bob Dylan and Bruce Springsteen on ENJOY EVERY SANDWICH: THE SONGS OF WARREN ZEVON, which will be released in October (04).

Zevon, 56, died in last September 2003 after being diagnosed with inoperable lung cancer.

Browne and Raitt have recorded a duet on POOR POOR PITIFUL ME, while the Wallflowers have covered LAWYERS, GUNS + MONEY.

Other highlights include Springsteen's version of MY RIDE'S HERE, the Pixies' cover of AIN'T THAT PRETTY AT ALL and funnyman Adam Sandler's take on WEREWOLVES OF LONDON.

The album's title comes from the answer Zevon gave to pal David Letterman when the chat show host asked him for advice on how to live a good life during a programme he dedicated to the ailing rocker.
