Rocker Jack White is still stunned THE White Stripes have been such a success, because the band is such an unusual composition. White, who has taken a hiatus from the SEVEN NATION ARMY duo to record with the RACONTEURS, is amazed at their unprofessionalism compared to his new group. He says, "If I was making up a band, I wouldn't make up The White Stripes. "A two-piece band who wear red and black and white, and play blues music, and use equipment that's ready to fall apart is not really a recipe for success. "This (Raconteurs) is a more easy-going band, in the sense that we all share the load. We are all four-pistons, all-cylinders firing."
