Rocker Jack White refuses to discuss the future of THE White Stripes, and is enigmatic about plans to spend more time working on his offshoot band The Raconteurs instead. White has already hinted that he prefers being a Raconteur, previously stating: "If I was making up a band, I wouldn't make up The White Stripes," adding that he finds performing with his STEADY AS SHE GOES bandmates far easier. But he is tight-lipped as to who he is giving priority for studio time to. He says, "We're all ready to make a lot of records, but we don't know what we're gonna do first though."
