The Austrian filmmaker won the Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film for Amour in 2013, and now he is bringing his actors back together for Happy End.

The drama will reportedly focus on the ongoing influx of refugees fleeing war in the Middle East and will be shot in the Calais region of France, where thousands of migrants are camped out as they seek passage to the U.K., according to Deadline.com.

The topic of Haneke's new project shouldn't come as a surprise to fans - he was among a number of filmmakers who recently joined forces for the For a Thousand Lives: Be Human initiative, which was created to raise awareness about the sensitive situation and help refugees seek asylum in Europe.
