Rockers Iron Maiden were the toast of the Metal Hammer Golden God awards in London on Monday night (15Jun09) - landing the Best U.K. Band honour for the second year in a row.
The Run to the Hills hitmakers lead the prizegiving at the British capital's IndigO2 venue as they were also handed the ceremony's highest honour - the Golden God award.
Slipknot were also double winners at the event - landing the prizes for Best International Act and Best Live Band.
Def Leppard took home the Legends Award, while Five Finger Death Punch was named Best New Band.
