Post Pop Depression, which the punk icon recorded with Queens Of The Stone Age star Josh Homme, has debuted at the top of the Billboard Rock Albums chart.

It's the former Stooges frontman's 17th studio album.

Post Pop Depression also debuts at number 17 on the Billboard 200 - Iggy's highest-charting entry.

The album was produced by and features Homme with Dean Fertita and Arctic Monkeys star Matt Helders on drums.

Iggy Pop and the Stooges first charted on the Billboard 200 in 1969.
