A new TV show pioneered by rapper Ice Cube will allow black and white families to try out life with each other's skin colours.

The hip-hop star has teamed up with film-maker RJ CUTLER for BLACK WHITE, which will debut in America next March (05).

Cube says, "It will force people to challenge themselves and really examine where we stand in terms of race."

The Spark family from Atlanta, Georgia and the Wurgels from Santa Monica, California, will live together in a house during the show.

Cutler adds, "The loud message of the show is that we are a divided nation.

"But we can come together if we're willing to talk about our differences and work to see the world through the eyes of other people."
