Galling Stuff: Hugh Laurie Complains About £250,000 Per Episode 'House' Job - Comments and Message Board

What an utterly twatty article. What exactly do you expect him to do, lie and say that he loved his job and that he was never ever frustrated or depressed because, as well know, having money means that you can never be unhappy? It couldn't be more obvious that you're trying to rally people to your side with this "yeah-us-poor-people-gotta-stick-together-fuck-those-richos," and the only way you could think to do so was to try and demonize Hugh Laurie for answering an interview question honestly - even though he acknowledges in the interview (in a part that you seem to have accidentally omitted - oh dear) that in hindsight it feels ridiculous to have been made so unhappy by an acting job. Seriously, this entire article is attacking him for the crime of not liking his job, just because he was well-paid for it. What a load of petty, bitter, jealous bullshit. Grow up.

Do you think that he rang up the paper in a fit of tears crying? They ask him these boring questions about dealing with fame and he answers. Now your publishing it. Brilliant work.
