Henry Holland's enjoyment of fashion has changed now he's working in the industry.
The 26-year-old designer is making a big name for himself in the industry but says some of the fun has been taken out of it because of his workload and he now thinks about other people's collections in a different way.
Speaking at the Ctrl.Alt.Shift Dear Diary: Secrets and Struggles from Kenya to the UK event in London's Hoxton Hall last night (13.05.10), Henry told BANG Showbiz: "It's pre-collection soon, so I'm quite excited to see all that. I've just been kind of working loads recently, so I'm kind of locked away. I don't really follow it as much as I used to. It sort of takes the enjoyment out of it when you work in it.
"I've just been shopping with my friends, but I was too busy looking at everyone's labelling and being really analytical about everything.
"I'm never critical, but I do think, 'Ooh, that's interesting that they've only got a size whatever left in that.' You start to think about everything differently."
Henry has recently launched a hosiery range and admits he gets a thrill when he sees girls wearing them.
He said: "I was in New York and some girl walked past me and I was like, 'She's wearing my tights!' I was going to my friends, 'My tights! My tights! My tights!' I was really glad I played that cool.
"I pointed at her, and she saw me doing it and she waved at me. We've expanded the tights range and are launching them in America in August. So I'm going to be over in the States quite a lot, we're doing a launch in both the East coast and West coast."
