Actress Helena Bonham Carter found herself shouting at young Harry Potter AND THE ORDER OF THE PHOENIX co-star MATTHEW LEWIS because she feared she'd deafened him with her wand. Bonham Carter plays witchy Bellatrix LeStrange in the new Potter film and admits she took one scene too far - drawing blood from Lewis' ear. She explains, "I was mortified. He plays Neville Longbottom and I was just torturing him in this scene and I thought it would be a fun idea to use my wand as a Q-tip and just give his ear a cleaning. "But it went too far in; as I put it in he leaned towards me and it actually did draw blood inside his ear. That was terrible. "Luckily I didn't cause any permanent damage, but I still started speaking up when I was talking to him; I kept shouting 'Neville, Neville...' I felt I had to shout at him all the time so he could hear me."
