English actress Helena Bonham Carter found turning 40 an uneventful moment, and is disappointed hitting middle age wasn't as dramatic as she hoped it would be. The Fight Club star hit the landmark age in May (06), and admits she didn't see what all the fuss was about. She says, "When I hit 40 I thought it was going to be a dramatic turning point, but on the day I realised that the world hadn't exploded. "I prefer being 40 to 20. I think most women do. You are far more comfortable in your skin than you were at 20."
