German beauty Heidi Klum has inadvertently blasted critics who presume supermodels steer clear of junk food - by signing a two-year endorsement with McDONALD'S.

The sexy catwalk star is already featuring in commercials for KATJES sweets and BIRKENSTOCK shoes - her own collection - and will begin shooting adverts for the fast food giants in January (05).

McDonald's spokesperson ALEXANDER SCHRAMM says, "She will play a role in different communication actions, from traditional advertising to PR.

"Heidi is the best partner. She's a young mother and represents modern lifestyle."

Busy Klum is also on board to start promoting German perfume retail chain DOUGLAS in January.
