After The Force Awakens director J.J. Abrams and producer Kathleen Kennedy took the stage at the Anaheim International Convention Center and welcomed the film's stars John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Oscar Isaac, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew and R2-D2, they thrilled fans by showing the much-anticipated blockbuster's latest teaser.

The new trailer, which has since gone viral, features clips of Ridley, Boyega and Isaac, Hamill's voice and Fisher's hand, but it was the first clip of Ford as Han Solo in 30 years right at the end that had thousands of fans cheering.

Following a space fight explosion, the screen went black and Solo could be heard saying, "Chewie, we're home". Ford, as Han Solo, then appeared alongside his wookie co-pilot Chewbacca, played by Mayhew, in the teaser's final scene.

Ford was unable to make it to Star Wars Celebration because he's still recovering from injuries he sustained in a plane crash landing in California last month (Mar15).
