Happy Mondays frontman Shaun Ryder is sick of singing his massive 1990 hit STEP ON, as he has performed it so many times.

The 43-year-old former hellraiser is always expected to sing the classic track as it is a huge favourite with fans - but he admits it bores him rigid.

Ryder says, "I sing Step On all the time and I hate it. I've done it so many times and it's the song everybody knows, but I'm sick of it.

"I do get a buzz off the people who are there to hear it, but that's it.

"I'm sure even (SIR MICK) JAGGER doing SATISFACTION or The Who doing My Generation, which I think you could never ever get sick of, feel the same."
