Comedian Bob Elliott has died at the age of 92.
The beloved U.S. radio and TV star passed away on Tuesday (02Feb16) in Cundy's Harbor, Maine.
Elliott began his career at a local radio station before moving on to host The Bob and Ray Show from 1951 to 1953 with comedy partner Ray Goulding.
The comedy duo also recorded albums and appeared on The Tonight Show and The Ed Sullivan Show, as well as in Broadway plays including The Two and Only, Cold Turkey, and Author! Author!
He also appeared in TV shows and movies, including Happy Days, Newhart, Bob & Ray, Jane, Laraine & Gilda, and Cabin.
Elliott is the father of comedian/actor Chris Elliott and grandfather of actress Abby Elliott.
