Half Moon Run Announce New Single 'She Wants To Know' For 23rd September 2013

Half Moon Run release their new single, 'She Wants To Know' on the 23rd September 2013. It is taken from their critically acclaimed debut album, Dark Eyes, which is out now.

2013 has been a breakthrough year for Montreal's Half Moon Run. Following stand-out performances at this year's SXSW in Texas, a Spring arena tour with Mumford & Sons, and their own sold-out UK and European headline shows, the band dropped their beautifully arresting debut album in the aftermath of two show-stopping sets at the Glastonbury Festival.

Half Moon Run refuse to let the dust settle on the early acclaim, and now prepare themselves for a heavy schedule of global touring throughout this Autumn alongside the release of another incredible slice of experimental, genre-crossing guitar music.

'She Wants To Know' is as ferocious as it is note-perfectly controlled. It's neither folk, nor is it rock, but it has a certain artiness and drive that should continue to carve the band's name out ahead of their immediate peers and beyond.

Having announced their biggest UK headline live show to date at London's Shepherds Bush Empire for later in the year, Half Moon Run are an intriguing and ultimately fresh export that positions them neatly alongside their Montreal brethren, but crucially sound like none of them at all.

The music speaks for itself much stronger than words on a page can do justice to.

Half Moon Run play the Green Man, and Reading & Leeds Festivals this summer.

Half Moon Run are: Devon Portielje, Conner Molander, Dylan Phillips, and Isaac Symonds
