Gwyneth Paltrow, the American actress who stars in the forthcoming movie 'Country Strong' about a washed up singer songwriter, is set to host Saturday Night Live on 15th January 2011, reports CNN. However, it has been reported that Paltrow could also duet with the evening's musical guest, the soul singer CEE LO-GREEN.
The actress famously performed a cover of Green's hit 'Forget You' on a recent episode of Glee, and the pair have been dropping hints as to their upcoming appearance on SNL. 36-year-old Green recently told E! Online, "We're actually working on something. We've been considering a few things actually. You know, we'll see what pans out. It's a little too early to commit to a statement and I won't ruin the surprise because whatever we're going to do is going to be extra cool". Responding to speculation of a duet, Paltrow told 'Good Morning America', "We're sort of emailing each other, we don't know where that's gonna go. But I am such a big fan of Cee Lo, he is so gorgeous and talented and amazing. We'll see".
Two of the tracks performed by Paltrow on 'Country Strong' have been nominated on the long-list for the Best Original Song OSCAR award, one of which was penned by her husband Chris Martin.
