Gwyneth Paltrow making a guest appearance in 'Glee' is a "dream come true" for the show's creator Ryan Murphy.

Despite having a whole host of guest stars lined up for series two of the musical TV show - which premiered in the US on Tuesday night (21.09.10) - the director-and-producer is most excited about the Oscar-winning actress' appearance.

He told BANG Showbiz: "Gwyneth Paltrow is going to come and do an episode soon, which is amazing. Having her come on the show is pretty much a dream come true - she's always been one of my dream guests."

Ryan also revealed the second series of 'Glee' has got off to a fantastic start.

Speaking at the UK premiere of 'Eat Pray Love' in London's Leicester Square last night (22.09.10), he said: "We've premiered in the US now and we've already had an indication of how popular the second series is. I looked at the iTunes chart this morning and five of the top ten songs are 'Glee' songs. I think that proves the sheer popularity of the show, which I'm thrilled with."

As well as Gwyneth, 'Vicky Cristina Barcelona' actor Javier Bardem and Britney Spears are also set to make cameo appearances in series two.
