Australian singer Guy Sebastian has credited The Butler for his newfound success in the U.S.

The 31 year old scored a hit with his single Battle Tracks, a collaboration with Lupe Fiasco, after it was used as part the film's soundtrack, and it has since achieved platinum sales of more than one million.

The star is convinced the track's success is down to the exposure provided by the movie, telling Australia's Daily Telegraph, "I was sitting on my couch and The Butler came on and suddenly my song was playing... And I keep hearing it on radio over here. I'm used to hearing my songs on the radio in Australia but definitely not over here so it is really cool."
