GUNS N' ROSES rocker Axl Rose is suing a Los Angeles car dealership after two top-of-the-range sports cars failed to arrive at his home.

The 43-year-old SWEET CHILD O' MINE singer sold his plush Ferrari to snap up a new pair of classic cars. But despite paying $20,000 (GBP11,100) in deposits, the rocker failed to receive financial recompense for the Ferrari, and has yet to set eyes on his new wheels.

Rose filed his suit in Los Angeles County Superior Court yesterday (12JAN06), contending that Beverly Hills Classic Cars violated an oral contract to get him a 2004 Lamborghini Gallardo and a 2005 Porsche GT3.

He also maintains the firm sold his 1999 Ferrari Marinello but never paid him a promised $135,000 (GBP75,000) from the deal.
