The Puerto Rican musician was part of the line-up when the quartet launched in 1993, and they enjoyed huge success with albums like Exploto el Bombazo and Dance Mania.

However, in the early 2000s, frontman Hector Serrano fired Cotto and bandmate Reynaldo Santiago, and the duo went on to form Grupo Starz.

The original members reunited for a chart comeback in 2006, but last summer (15), Hector's brother and bandmate, Oscar Serrano, announced he was departing to go solo, and now Cotto has exited the group too.
