Green Day's great year continues after the punk trio learned their music helped to revive a young fan from a coma.
The BASKET CASE hitmakers, who picked up Grammys, stormed to the number one spot on world charts and are currently headlining a sell-out tour, can now add lifesavers to their impressive resume after their AMERICAN IDIOT album helped bring a British coma patient back to consciousness.
Bass player MIKE DIRNT says, "It was pretty intense. What they didn't mention is how big the stereo was they were playing it out of - the power of loud music."
