A nightclub boss jailed for his part in the Great White fire tragedy in 2003 has been released from prison.
Michael Derderian, a former co-owner of Rhode Island nightclub The Station, walked free from jail on Thursday (25Jun09).
He was due to be released later this year after serving three years behind bars, but earned time off for good behaviour.
Derderian pleaded no contest to 100 counts of involuntary manslaughter following the blaze at the club he ran with his brother Jeffrey. The tragedy claimed the lives of 99 rock fans and Great White's guitarist Ty Longley.
The band's tour manager Daniel Biechele was released from jail last year (08) after serving almost two of a four-year sentence for organising an ill-advised pyrotechnics display, which turned The Station into a deadly inferno.
